An Alabama Wonderland garden

This garden doesn’t have a landscape plan. Each waterfall, wildflower, and moss-shawled boulder looks like it’s been nestled here since God made Earth.

The owner is Jim Scott and although he’s not a landscape architect, he could teach them a thing or two. His 12-year creation is a labyrinth of intersecting trails, meandering streams, hideaways, and surprises. It’s an adult playground like no other!

The garden was once struck by a tornado which severely impacted the area. Luckily an anonymous donor came to the rescue with the aid of a helicopter that rearranged misplaced trees, and brought the garden back to it’s glory.
